"Sun Valley" at Shanghai Expo
This is one of the six trump-shaped buildings that line the Expo Axis - an main avenue in the Shanghai World Expo garden. Along the path are the most important structures of the Expo - China Pavilion, Expo Culture Center and Expo Center. The buildings make part of a two-leveled complex that facilitates the transport of expo visitors, along with services such as dining and shopping. The whole Expo Axis complex is over 3,000 feet in length, designed by the German firm SBA. The "Sun Valley" buildings are environment-friendly - they make good use of sunlight and the rainfall collected through the buildings. The buildings are lighted in different colors at night.
